More Wrestling Action

Elias wrestled in a local wrestling tournament on Sunday. He is doing a great job of practicing the techniques he's learning and did his best, even if he lost 3 matches. He still came home with a 4th place trophy. The wrestling program is teaching him so many life skills and is such a great experience for him that I'm so glad he's committed to it.Huge Trophy!

60th Wedding Anniversary

Bob's parents celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary this month -- what a feat! We love and miss them much!

The children of John and Eileen Hubert are requesting a card shower in honor of the couple's 60th wedding anniversary. They were married Feb. 6, 1949, at Peace Lutheran Church in McCook. They have five children, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Cards of congratulations will reach them at 901 Sunset Road, McCook, NE 69001.

More Wrestling Action

Elias competed in a wrestling meet in Kenyon, MN on Saturday and came home with a 2nd place trophy, with which he was of course most pleased. We all went in support and enjoyed a picnic in the van on the drive home.
